Pony Express Route Map

Pictorial map shows route of the Pony Express with names and locations of relay stations starting at St. Joseph, Missouri and ending at Sacramento, California. The Pony Express ran from April 3, 1860 until October 24, 1861.

The famous photographer, William H. Jackson, was also a fine watercolorist. He was nearing his 100th birthday when he painted this map of the Pony Express route.
