Tragedy at Cottonwood Creek, Dakota Territory 1865 by local resident Kathryn Campbell Kelly.  This is a story of Frank Grundvig and his family traveling from Denmark to Salt Lake City in 1865. It emphasizes the dire circumstances that took place along the Platte River in present-day Wyoming, Goshen, Platte, and Converse counties.
